# Free medical care for children in Myanmar(FMMT MECA)

 
In Myanmar, many families do not have enough financial resources to treat their sick or disabled children medically. FMMT does not want to leave these children to their fate. That is why the foundation organized and financed the medical care for these children first in Yangon, later in Taunggyi (Shan State, Myanmar). Between 2009 and 2016, FMMT helped more than 200 children from all over the country. They are healthy again and have a second chance of a good life.

# Special Education Centre Taunggyi(FMMT SECTA)
 
In addition to facilitating free medical care, FMMT is currently building an important follow-up project in the city of Taunggyi (Shan State) Myanmar, where free special education for children with (learning problems or disabilities will be organized (language education, catch-up training, preparation lessons, student counselling, ..)  This 'Special Education Center', the first in Myanmar, will open in 2025.
