FREE MEDICAL CARE FOR POUR CHILDREN(FMMT MECA)
Yearly(from 2009 to 2016) about 40 children were treated medically through the coordination and financing by FMMT. Nowadays, FMMT sends the patients for free treatment to its partner organization in their new hospital 'Myat Thar Shin Free Clinic' in Taunggyi (Shan state, Myanmar). Local volunteer teams of surgeons and nurses are committed giving them the best care. Occasionally, some patients (urgent cases or difficult transports) are helped by FMMT in hospitals of Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon.
SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTRE(FMMT SECTA)
'Education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world'
Education is a human right and an enormous power to bring change. It's the key to development. That is why FMMT now establishes a 'Special Education Centre' in Taunggyi (Shan State, Myanmar). Here 'ex-patients' will enjoy free speech therapy, language education and tailor-made study preparation and support. FMMT finances and organizes this educational project itself. In a later phase (+15 years), FMMT SECTA will be transferred and fully owned by a local management and team.

The annual operating costs for FMMT SECTA are approximately € 10.000
BUILDING PROGRAM ESTIMATED AT € 107.000
Classrooms - FMMT office - library and study room - accommodation and facilities(for children & parents, teachers, house staff, specialists and guest teachers) - playground(roof garden).
The building must become sustainable and environmentally friendly. We provide solar panels and rainwater recuperation. This way, the students can get acquainted with sustainable techniques and learn to deal with the environment and nature differently.
Phase 1: Investments done from February 2014 to June 2016 (preparations, stabilization and foundation, concrete skeleton) € 48.000
Phase 2: Investments from June 2016 for a total of € 47.000, respectively: Reinforcement and protection wall between school and river(€ 10.000) - Roof, walls in stone, windows (€ 22.000) - Flooring (€ 8.000) - Electricity and plumbing (€ 7.000)
Phase 3: Planned investments from June 2019 for a total of € 12.000, respectively: Furniture, pedagogical materials, office materials, technical installations and furniture, miscellaneous, ..
Phase 4: Planned opening and first educational activities in 2025
